Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Waste Processing Technician I to operate forklifts, balers, and compactors, and to process waste into commodities per vendor specs at client sites. The role emphasizes safety, accurate recordkeeping, and teamwork within the Sustainable Site Solutions division.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift experience, and ability to pass a respirator fit test, with strong attention to detail, time management, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to use NetSuite and basic office software.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials per vendor specifications.
• General housekeeping and area maintenance.
• Complete preventative maintenance paperwork for equipment.
• Load/unload of trailers.
• Coordinate collection points within client facilities.
