Reworld Waste, LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana is hiring an entry-level Waste Processing Technician I to safely perform core waste processing tasks. Responsibilities include off-loading inbound trucks, QA/QC, data verification, container sampling, and processing material through shredding operations and other steps as needed.

The role requires basic mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment, including forklifts, hoses, valves, and general safety compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a related role.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Demonstrates good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate cranes/forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Off-load inbound trucks and waste streams.
• Perform QA/QC and data verification for receiving and shipping.
• Sample waste streams and manage material documentation (manifest, counts).
• Operate equipment including forklifts, pressure washers, and hand tools per safety policies.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and compliance with OSHA requirements.
