Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Hazardous Waste Handler at our North American semiconductor facility to perform routine waste processing tasks and support daily operations. You will manage assigned areas, operate equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with leads and teams for seamless processing.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years in hazardous material handling, and preferred heavy equipment operation experience; a valid driver’s license is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum two year hazardous material processing and/or handling.
• Minimum one year heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to read and write for clear communication.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned area while maintaining operation efficiencies.
• Lead and coordinate team member activities to achieve goals.
• Interface with Lead Material Handlers to achieve objectives.
• Manage site waste generated in the work area.
• Create maintenance work orders to insure upkeep of equipment.
• Respond to spills as required and perform temporary repairs.
• Maintain department housekeeping and safety compliance.
