Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a dependable hazardous waste technician to perform routine movements of solids and liquids under supervision. You will load/unload containers, operate basic tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area at the site.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to follow directions while handling hazardous materials with care. Prior 3–6 months of related experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits and training opportunities are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 6 months of prior hazardous waste or chemical industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with forklifts and a variety of tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Construct and label boxes/containers; stack and load containers.
• Use tools such as impact wrenches, shovels, jackhammers, etc.
