Veolia in North America is seeking an Operations Manager I - Hazardous for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility to oversee environmental services and compliance.

The role ensures health and safety, leads hiring and training of staff, reviews contracts and estimates, and maintains profitability in the region while ensuring regulatory adherence. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this hands-on management position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4–6 years of hazardous waste experience.
• Extensive knowledge of DOT, EPA, TSCA and OSHA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all client services within the assigned area.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Oversee subcontractor projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve project estimates, proposals, and contracts.
• Coordinate training and staff development.
• Maintain equipment operation and storage compliance.
• Provide client inquiries solutions and professional image.
