Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a facilities operator at a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Texas. The role focuses on collecting, sorting and transporting disposables and recyclables, including hazardous waste, within a high-clarity safety culture.

You will operate forklifts and support equipment, ensure clean storage areas, and participate in safety meetings. Strong reading skills and a high school diploma are required, plus a pre-employment screen and valid license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment is desired.
• Able to read and understand instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a safe manner in line with policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report to work on time and stay prepared.
• Collect trash, recyclables and hazardous waste from various facility locations.
• Breakdown scrap parts for repair or recycling.
• Transport waste and recyclables to disposal or storage locations.
• Load semi-trailers and roll-off boxes for shipment to landfill or recycling centers.
• Document contamination reports and submit timely.
• Operate equipment safely, including forklift and carts.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on mobile equipment.
