Job summary

A & Associates is seeking Waste Collector Helpers to join our team on full-time and part-time basis in Georgia. Under direct supervision, you will collect residential and commercial refuse on designated routes and assist in completing all routes, performing related duties as assigned.

This is heavy manual labor performed outdoors, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work early shifts starting at 5:00 am and on holidays with supervision from truck crews.

Qualifications

• Eighth grade education required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work 5:00 am to cover holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs waste, recyclable, and yard trash pickup at designated locations.
• Performs curbside pickup in residential areas.
• Operates hand tools and assists truck operator in loading/unloading.
• Cleans and inspects trucks and maintains route records.
