Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Helper to assist the refuse truck driver on pre-assigned routes, collecting garbage, yard waste, and recycling. You will lift and push items, help load carts, and ensure proper placement into the rear load truck.

You will provide courteous service to residents, follow OSHA and company safety policies, and assist with safe truck backing and routine clean-up after shifts. Training and routine route coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Assists refuse truck driver on pickup routes and follows safety guidelines.
• Lifts, carries, and places trash into the truck on specified routes.
• Provides courteous customer service and information to residents.
• Follows company and OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Picks up solid waste and places it in the rear load truck on specified routes.
• Assists driver with backing up safely and completing routes.
• Keeps work area clean and reports safety or customer service issues.
• May assist on emergency responses or other routes as needed.
• Attends required training courses and complies with company policies.
