Job summary

Augment Human Resource Services is seeking reliable General Laborers for short-term waste audit and special projects at partner facilities. These are temporary, project-based roles with fast weekly pay and hands-on environmental tasks.

You will sort waste, assist with material separation, and support cleanup and movement of debris while following safety procedures. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, sanitation, or recycling is helpful—but not required.
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work including bending, lifting, standing, and sorting for extended periods.
• Willing to work in outdoor or warehouse environments and wear provided PPE.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sort through waste and recyclable materials by hand for audit and reporting purposes.
• Separate items into specific categories (e.g., plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Assist with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks) and follow safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with any other project-related duties as assigned.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors immediately.
