Job summary

Augment is seeking reliable General Laborers for upcoming waste audit and special project assignments at partner facilities in Pasadena, CA. These temporary roles involve hands-on sorting, cleaning, and material handling to support environmental reporting and operations.

You’ll work outdoors or in warehouses, wear PPE, pass background and drug screening, and can earn weekly pay with short-term placements.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, sanitation, or recycling is helpful—but not required.
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work including bending, lifting, standing, and sorting for extended periods.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sort through waste and recyclable materials by hand for audit and reporting purposes.
• Separate items into specific categories (e.g., plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Assist with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks) and follow strict safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with any other project-related duties as assigned.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors immediately.
