Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Compliance Monitor to enhance recycling and organics programs by auditing client waste streams and coordinating improvements. The role suits an organized, self-driven individual who can work independently and travel to client sites for hands-on audits.

Preferred candidates will be analytical, capable of multitasking, and committed to safety standards and PPE usage. Valid driver’s license is required for this field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Audits commercial and residential clients’ waste streams to identify contamination and opportunities for program improvement.
• Conducts waste audits by assessing each waste stream, recording weight data, photo-documenting materials, and creating an audit report to summarize findings.
• Coordinates with Operations teams to organize audit logistics and travel as needed.
• Travels to client locations to perform hands-on waste audits.
• Monitors customer compliance with recycling and organics program requirements.
• Documents, tracks, and reports daily activities using Excel or other cloud-based waste reporting software.
