Job summary

ABB Installation Products Inc. is seeking a Warranty Project Manager to lead warranty processes for Electrification Solutions projects.

You will be the main customer interface for warranty claims, coordinating with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal customer downtime. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical/energy/mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with minimum 3 years of experience (project management, engineering or manufacturing experience preferred).
• Problem solving skills with excellent oral and written communication in English
• Strong analytical skills to interpret warranty claims vs coverage
• Organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with tasks, plus customer service skills
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Warranty Management & Customer Advocacy: Serve as primary customer contact for warranty issues, ensuring timely, accurate resolution and advocating for customer needs.
• Claims Assessment & Coordination: Review and validate warranty claims per contractual terms, prioritize cases, and coordinate with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams to minimize downtime.
• Process Execution & Documentation: Manage purchase orders, maintain detailed project records, and ensure compliance with HSE standards while driving efficient warranty execution and continuous improvements.
• Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate with Quality teams to analyze warranty trends, performance, and costs, providing insights to enhance effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
