Zusammenfassung

ABB is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead field-based execution of Electrification Solutions projects in a hybrid role based in Houston with additional locations. You will guide the project team, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating subcontractors and multi-discipline teams.

You will read blueprints and submittals, leverage EPMS/SCADA concepts, and travel up to 50% as required to support project sites and ABB

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of construction/field experience, preferably with electrical systems background.
• Completion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability for creative issue resolution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, trade labor, and multi-discipline field teams.
• Willingness to travel 50% and as required.

Aufgaben

• Lead the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitor project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk, and ensure opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Travel to customer sites, project locations, and ABB facilities as needed to support project execution.
