Job summary

GEA Group, located in York, PA, is seeking a Systems Troubleshooter II to join our Warranty Team in the Service Department. You will support the repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment, translating complex technical concepts for customers and technicians alike.

This role emphasizes problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience reading P&IDs, and proficiency with ERP/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/technical refrigeration certification preferred; advanced degree acceptable.
• 3–5+ years in refrigeration or related troubleshooting field.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor and other troubleshooters with issue resolution and coordinating problem jobs.
• Provide technical support via phone and email using multiple computer programs to identify solutions.
• Examine complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues and suggest improvements.
• Deliver maintenance instructions and preventative measures for routine repairs.
• Develop procedural instructions for new equipment and maintenance standards.
• Document issues and conversations for tracking progress and learning opportunities; follow up on open issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
