Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Warranty Containment Engineer in Denton, Texas. You will identify root causes of warranty and field issues and drive concepts from design through production with a focus on practical engineering solutions.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience. Travel up to 10% is expected; candidates should thrive in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Up to 10% travel can be expected.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause and solutions to top warranty and field issues
• Take concepts from design to production implementation
• Proactive, problem solver with a drive for results
• Persistence to follow projects through to completion in the face of obstacles
• Conduct necessary investigation of warranty and field service information
• Apply knowledge of design, stress analysis and FEA
• Apply knowledge of design, use of various materials and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Creo and Windchill functionality
• Demonstrate professional and successful communication skills (verbal/written) with strong, effective interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks
• Act in a professional manner in all contacts with external and internal customers
• Up to 10% travel can be expected
