Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a qualified Warranty Administrator to review and complete warranty claims, preparing, recording, reconciling, and submitting them to the appropriate party. This role interfaces daily with customers, technicians, service and parts staff, and managers in a dynamic automotive environment.

The position requires a high school diploma (or GED) with related experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking with proven time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all warranty claims by the next business day after RO close date.
• Handle and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer’s warranty representatives.
• Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility.
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies to maximize claim processing.
• Check repair orders against vehicle service history to avoid duplicates.
• Provide weekly claim status reports to the service manager.
• Report fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims.
• Provide parts manager with weekly updated parts listing.
• Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules and address adjustments or write-offs.
• Assist service consultants in closing open warranty ROs and with warranty questions.
• Attend warranty training courses as needed.

We are currentlylooking to add a qualifiedWarranty Administratorto join our team.

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims. This includes preparing, recording, reconciling warranty claims and submitting them to the appropriate party.

This position interacts daily with Customers, Technicians, Service Associates, Parts Associates, Parts and Service Managers, Cashiers, Sales Associates, just to name a few.

Responsibilities

• Process all claims by next business day following RO close date
• Handel and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs
• Establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer's designated warranty representatives
• Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the policies and procedures
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies for maximizing claim process
• Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims
• Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status
• Report any fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims
• Provide parts manager with updated parts listing on a weekly basis
• Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs
• Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty RO's
• Assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions
• Attend warranty training courses as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Criticalt thinker with proventime management skills.
