Job summary

One Senior Care in Youngstown, OH is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome Participants, families, staff and visitors from the moment they arrive. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a warm, calm environment and guiding guests with professionalism.

You will answer calls, greet guests, assist with daily office tasks, and help keep the lobby organized. This steady, people-centered role emphasizes kindness, teamwork, and reliable support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of administrative support experience.
• Experience with frail or elderly population is a plus with training provided.
• Capable of assisting individuals with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet Participants, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism.
• Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments.
• Assist Participants and visitors with questions, directions, and general support.
• Ensure visitors and vendors sign in and out.
• Receive and sort incoming mail and newspapers.
• Help maintain cleanliness and appearance of lobby and front entrance.
• Assist EMS staff by opening doors or managing elevator access when needed.
• Support Participant tracking as required.
• Complete filing, copying, and other clerical tasks for Center Manager and department leaders.
• Scan documents to reduce paperwork backlogs.
• Participate in team discussions and quality improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
