Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker to join our team in Louisville, KY. You will participate in distribution and receiving, verify products, and assemble/ship orders while maintaining accurate inventories.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, enduring temperature extremes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic. Health benefits and opportunities for growth are included.

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure timely receiving and distribution.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies; communicate issues to management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:
