Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior large food warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure timely receiving and distribution.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (cleanliness, safety, security).

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This position is Monday - Friday 6am-12:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
