Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to join its Columbus, OH distribution team. You will participate in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control to support timely distribution of products.

Ideal candidates have prior large food warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in temperature-extreme environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies and procedures.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (cleanliness, safety, or security).

• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns

Requirements

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
