AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic Warehouse Worker, Part Time, 1st Shift in Lafayette, IN. This role supports receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have previous large food warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The job requires standing for extended periods and tolerating temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
