Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Warehouse Worker, Part-time. The role is scheduled five days with a half-day Saturday. You will participate in distribution/receiving, receive and verify products, and assemble/shipment orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns).
