Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker for a Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM shift in Garner, NC. This role involves participating in all warehouse distribution and receiving activities, checking products, and assembling orders for shipment.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in temperature extremes. A strong work ethic and the ability to multitask are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday 6AM-12:30PM.

• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
