Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate for the 2nd shift (Sunday to Thursday, 4:30pm–1:00am) in Illinois. You will perform essential facility operations, including picking products, filling orders, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks, while following safety rules and maintaining a clean work environment.

This full-time role offers competitive pay at $20 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement with match, paid vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts with notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations such as picking product and filling orders.
• Operate mobile equipment throughout the facility, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Complete inventory tasks, such as scanning inventory, cycle counting, billing, and filing.
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up 50lbs to 80lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a production environment
• Previous experience operating mobile equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack
• Basic computer skills
