Job summary

Cargill is seeking a full-time night-shift operator to join our specialized portfolio enterprise. The position offers a starting pay of $21.09 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, and additional benefits.

You will operate equipment and technology tools, monitor tank levels, collect samples, and help ensure products meet specifications. The role emphasizes teamwork and safety in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
• Comfortable working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Able to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work overtime including weekends or different shifts with notice.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and technology tools across the facility, including mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, and weighing.
• Collect product samples and monitor tank levels, inputting data as required.
• Manufacture products to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with peers and management to improve operations and foster teamwork.
• Operate forklifts or other mobile equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A Typical Work Day May Include:

• Operating equipment and technology tools throughout the facility which may include mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, weighing, palletizers, etc.
• Collecting product samples and supervising tank levels, utilizing computer systems to input and record data as necessary
• Manufacturing products to ensure that they meet specifications
• Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
• Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
• Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need

• Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
• Be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
