Job summary

MSI in Orange, CA is seeking an entry-level UPS/MISC Clerk to handle shipping/receiving, verify orders, and prepare items for shipment under general supervision. Working Sunday to Thursday 5:30 PM–2:30 AM, with occasional early Friday shifts; hourly pay $19.75 with overtime 1.5x; new hires typically earn $65,300–$81,200 annually depending on experience and bonuses.

• High School Education or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of Warehouse experience.
• One year of experience operating a Forklift.
• Able to use a computer or tablet is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Summary:

The UPS/ MISC clerk is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The UPS/MISC clerk will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment.

Work Hours:

Sunday to Thursday from 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM, 2 Friday(s) a month from 05:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Compensation:

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19.75 to $19.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $65,300 and $81,200 annually, or more, depending on experience, premium pay differential, overtime hours, and bonuses.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
• Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School Education or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of Warehouse experience
• One (1) year of experience operating a Forklift
• Able to use a computer or tablet a plus
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
• Provide high level of customer service
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
