Job summary

MSI is seeking a motivated warehouse worker and delivery driver in Brentwood, NY. You will handle loading, unloading, palletizing, packing, and local deliveries using an electric pallet jack. This hands-on role combines warehouse operations with occasional customer-facing duties.

The position is full-time with regular hours Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and two Saturdays per month; training in New Jersey for one week is provided with meals and lodging covered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable driving with heavy-duty vehicles.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on warehouse experience.
• Comfortable with local deliveries with multiple stops.
• Experience using an iPad or tablet preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver countertop and flooring material safely and efficiently.
• Conduct driveway deliveries and unload with electric pallet jack.
• Assist loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
• Position blocks, ties, straps, and binders for cargo securement.
• Operate vehicles safely and maintain alertness at all times.
• Maintain polite demeanor with road users and good communication.

Job description

Summary

As a warehouse worker and delivery driver, you will primarily work hands‑on in a warehouse, assisting with our daily operations. This includes loading and unloading, palletizing, and packing. Occasionally, you will deliver our MSI merchandise locally. During these local deliveries, you’ll conduct driveway deliveries and use an electric pallet jack to unload pallets.

Note

Upon joining MSI, the candidate will be required to travel to New Jersey for one week of training. MSI will cover the costs of meals and accommodations during the training period.

This hourly, non‑exempt position pays from $23.75 to $26.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $46,200 and $61,800 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver countertop and flooring material safely and efficiently.
• Conduct driveway deliveries and utilize the electric pallet jack to unload pallets at each delivery location.
• Assist in the loading, unloading, and proper securing of cargo.
• Skillfully position blocks, ties, straps/chains, and binders for cargo securement.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate vehicles safely at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience working in a warehouse.
• Comfortable with making local deliveries with multiple stops.
• Electric pallet jack experience for unloading the pallets
• Successful completion of driving test and all DOT pre‑employment requirements.
• Safety‑minded with proficiency in maintaining a legal and accurate logbook.
• Capable of understanding and interpreting bill of landing/picking sheets.
• Previous experience utilizing an iPad or tablet is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

This Role Has The Following Physical Demands

• Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
• The employee must regularly lift, pull and move up to 55 pounds and occasionally up to 70lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
• Able to ascend and descend multiple‑rung ladder.
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
• Able to work at elevated height of 72" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
• Able to work at lowered height of 6" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position.
