Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Distribution Center Warehouse Trainer to oversee onboarding and ongoing training for new hires and cross-training across the warehouse.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will lead safety training, on-the-job instruction, and compliance audits, while mentoring associates and ensuring training records are up to date. This role supports efficient operations and requires flexibility across shifts using the ELM LMS.

Qualifications

• Must have prior training experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficient at powered equipment training (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety programs.
• Experience with Ferguson or similar supply chain operations is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule across multiple shifts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and LMS (ELM).

Responsibilities

• Lead initial orientation and discuss overall training schedule.
• Conduct and facilitate on-the-job training for Ferguson DC associates, both new hires and existing.
• Train new and current associates on safety requirements within the warehouse.
• Complete PIT training including initial certification, recertification and retraining.
• Provide recurrent training for all certification and safety programs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates.
• Audit training processes for each department to ensure SOP compliance.
• Meet with Operations Manager and department leaders to provide feedback and improvements.
• Ensure proper tracking of training status for each associate.
