Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Safety Specialist based in our Lebanon Market Distribution Center to lead all safety programs, OSHA compliance, and incident investigations. You will train associates, monitor equipment, and coordinate safety communications to maintain a safe, productive environment.

This role requires a degree or several years of safety experience, ability to work varied shifts, strong leadership, and excellent written/presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of safety experience.
• Warehouse distribution safety experience preferred.
• Able to work varied shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Experience creating/training with Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Strong hazard recognition and corrective-action skills.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Train new associates on safety procedures and standards.
• Administer safety training programs and OSHA compliance.
• Monitor environments to meet safety requirements.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead Safety Committee meetings and publish agendas.
• Coordinate incident data and workers’ comp communications.
• Align with Region Territory Safety Manager on safety initiatives.
• Manage onboarding and health & safety programs.
