Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Trainer to join our Front Royal Distribution Center. This role coordinates onboarding and training processes for new hires and cross-training associates across all distribution center functions.

If you have experience training in a warehouse environment, this is the position for you! The ideal candidate has 2+ years of trainer experience in a warehouse, proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ELM LMS, and can develop engaging PowerPoint presentations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Training/Trainer experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience operating and training on Powered Industrial Equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ELM LMS.
• Ability to develop dynamic PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads initial orientation and discusses overall training schedule.
• Conducts and facilitates on-the-job training programs for Ferguson DC associates.
• Trains associates on safety requirements within the warehouse.
• Completes one-on-one training of job-specific warehouse operations and WMS processes.
• Audits training processes for each department to ensure SOP adherence and consistency.
