Relay Express, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Traffic Clerk in Indianapolis, IN to support inbound/outbound freight, load/unload, and cross-docking at a 10-door facility.

The role requires forklift operation, strong attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure safety and accuracy in daily tasks. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Freight Handling: unload and load freight from inbound and outbound trucks using forklifts and other equipment.
• Cross-Docking: perform cross-docking operations to expedite transfer of freight between trucks.
• Quality Control: inspect incoming/outgoing freight for accuracy and quality, complete daily scanning/OSD reports.
• Reworks: handle rework and repackaging tasks to correct errors or damage.
• Inventory Management: conduct regular inventory counts and maintain stock records.
• Process Improvements: identify opportunities for improvements and collaborate to implement solutions.
• Forklift Operation: safely operate forklifts and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
