Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead in Indianapolis. This role oversees unloading, loading, and sorting of packages, training new hires, and supporting metrics with Area and Operations Managers.

You must be at least 18, have a GED/high school diploma, and 1 year of industry plus leadership experience is preferred. The position requires lifting up to 150 lbs with pallet jack or equipment, and a schedule of Friday through Monday from 3:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or GED.
• 1 year of industry experience preferred.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Regularly lift, push, pull 25–35 lbs; up to 50 lbs; up to 150 lbs with pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
• Train and guide Package Handlers with hands-on demonstrations.
• Oversee handling, sorting, and inspection for accuracy and avoiding misroutes.
• Monitor equipment function and submit maintenance requests.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and verify credentials
