Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Birmingham, AL is seeking a warehouse associate to support loading, unloading, picking, packing and shipping. This role moves material around the facility using hand trucks, forklifts, and conveyors, with a focus on accuracy, safety and efficiency.

You will handle stock, inspect products, operate equipment, and help maintain inventory while following safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate robots to facilitate warehouse operations.
• Coordinate site damage/re-pour area.
• Abide by all safety and quality expectations.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
