Job summary

Avera is seeking a Supply Chain Warehouse Technician in Sioux Falls, SD to support warehouse and distribution operations for medical and non-medical supplies. You will handle receipts, storage, cycle counts, picks, and interfacility transfers using Workday, Tecsys, and handheld devices.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficiency to ensure product availability for patient care, with a focus on teamwork and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work specified hours.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unloads, inspects inbound freight against PO/docs and records receipts in Workday/Tecsys.
• Stores and replenishes inventory with proper rotation and storage standards.
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
• Picks, packs, and fulfills customer requisitions using WMS and handheld tech.
• Coordinates interfacility transfers and urgent supply requests.
• Prepares outbound shipments and carrier labels; coordinates shipments with couriers.
