Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB in Richmond, VA is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handling Team Lead to coordinate daily plans, assign resources, and resolve discrepancies. You will work with ERP and BOM documents, train staff, and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities include leading a team, running daily startup meetings, participating in improvement projects, and collaborating with inventory and production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years warehouse logistics experience requested.
• Experience with handheld barcode scanners (Zebra preferred).
• Experience with Bill of Materials, pick lists, and manufacturing documents.
• Experience with ERP systems (MS D365 preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of material handlers to ensure accurate, timely parts picking and collaborate with other warehouse/logistics teams.
• Plan and coordinate daily workload with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Run daily shift startup/handover meetings and lead Improvement Meetings.
• Contribute to problem resolution processes and develop sustainable solutions.
• Provide departmental training and audit SOPs; drive process improvements.
• Coordinate material handling with production and inventory teams.
