Job summary

Alfa Laval’s Richmond facility is hiring a 2nd shift Warehouse Worker. You will pick and deliver materials to workstations, follow standard procedures, and support daily operations. The role requires basic math, reading a tape measure, and 2+ years in Materials, plus forklift operation certification and crane experience preferred.

Safety is a priority; expect PPE usage, 5S routines, and collaboration with the Team Leader and Team Manager to maintain workflow and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Materials.
• Basic desk top computer skills.
• Basic math including ability to read a tape measure.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver materials to appropriate workstations promptly.
• Address internal department requests for material delivery to maintain workflow.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety standards (glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves).
• Receive daily work assignments from Team Leader/Team Manager.
• Assist Team Lead with administrative and operational tasks and reporting.
• Report deviations to Digital Status Boards and propose corrective actions.
