Job summary

Alfa Laval’s Richmond facility is seeking a Warehouse Worker - Material Handling to support GPHE operations on 1st shift. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

You will perform material handling, picking, replenishment, and delivery tasks, while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with SOPs. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehousing or manufacturing, forklift experience, and basic computer and scanner skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in materials, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• 2+ years operating forklifts.
• Basic desktop computer and handheld scanner skills required.
• Basic math skills including reading a tape measure.
• Prior manufacturing and material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments and execute material handling, picking, staging, replenishment, and delivery activities.
• Coordinate with team leaders and Inventory Control to resolve material flow and discrepancies.
• Report deviations and safety, quality, parts, equipment, or delivery issues promptly.
• Cross train in multiple production lines to provide flexible support.
• Contribute to daily status board meetings with deviation explanations and solutions.
