Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead I to manage and coordinate activities in the assigned work area, train team members on-the-job, and ensure customer requirements are met while following quality and safety processes. This role works on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery and reports to the Onsite Manager.

You will oversee inspection, tool readiness, daily documentation, and material availability to support on-site jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor is preferred.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and the inspection of customer products for the assigned tables.
• Lead by example, stay organized, and maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the facility.
• Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Coordinate shift start activities (table requirements, paperwork, and duties).
• Ensure tools and materials are available for completion of jobs on site.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager regarding completion of objectives.
