The role requires supervising up to 15 staff, maintaining documentation, and ensuring availability of tools and materials. A strong safety mindset and basic English are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset – we are willing to train for the right person!
• Must be comfortable working with scanners and tablets for data keeping and time entries.
• Previous professional interactions with customers and/or vendors.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate, able to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email software.
• Safety Mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and monitor the activities of the assigned work area.
• Provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Interact with the Customer at all levels of Management.
• Ensure completion of work and customer requirements while complying with all company quality and safety processes.
• May provide input to the Onsite Manager regarding performance.
• Oversee the inspection process for customer products.
• Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with health and safety policies.
