Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist, Team Lead to coordinate a designated team in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.

You will train staff, monitor performance, ensure safety, quality standards and timely execution, while collaborating with supervisors to sustain workflow, continuous improvement, and accurate handling of goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Forklift experience 2-3 years and current or prior MHE certification.
• Fluent in English; ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team in daily warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory).
• Assign work to ensure productivity, accuracy and safety compliance.
• Load orders accurately to doors/trailers and research discrepancies.
• Train new and existing staff on SOPs including shipping/receiving/quality control.
• Coach and provide feedback; escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure PPE use and safety policy adherence; perform quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement and clear shift communication.
