Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist, Team Lead in Chandler to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a designated team, and ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of products. The role reports to a Supervisor or Manager and focuses on productivity, workflow, and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in logistics/distribution or a related environment.
• 2–3 years forklift experience.
• Current or prior MHE certification.
• Strong attention to detail and timely task completion.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity, accuracy, and safety/quality compliance.
• Efficiently and accurately load orders according to doors and trailers.
• Research discrepancies in shipping/receiving processes.
• Train new and existing associates on SOPs (shipping, receiving, picking, quality control).
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Assist with problem-solving and escalate operational issues as needed.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, PPE and adherence to safety policies.
• Perform regular quality and inventory checks to minimize errors and damages.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• Maintain clear communication between shifts and departments for smooth handoffs.
