Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a Warehouse Operator, Inventory Team Lead to coordinate storage and shipping, mentor staff, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will train teams on SOPs for shipping, receiving, picking and quality control while improving productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to maintain compliance, security and efficient operations in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities
• Train on Standard Operating Procedures including shipping, receiving, picking and quality control
• Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates

Responsibilities

• Oversee unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments
• Load orders accurately according to doors and trailers
• Ensure all shipping/receiving/picking follows Standard Operating Procedures
• Research discrepancies in shipping and receiving processes
• Prepare activity reports for site management
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance in the warehouse
• Direct warehouse work team to achieve productivity and quality goals
• Assist in establishing and maintaining work schedules and staffing levels
