Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our South Carolina Hanahan site. In this role, you’ll guide the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment, while coaching staff and upholding safety and policy standards.

You’ll also coordinate with management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service for customers. The position requires 2 years in a warehouse setting, 1 year SAP, and experience with WMS and scanners.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure inventory levels are accurate and orders are completed on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; recommend improvements as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system effectively and maintain proper work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service and safety procedures.
• Interpret and enforce company policies to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment per the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect team members.
