Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Lead, Warehouse to oversee the assigned team and area in the warehouse to ensure our operations run smoothly and meet customer expectations. You will train and coach staff, assign tasks, monitor inventory accuracy, operate the warehouse management system, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering reliable daily

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; recommend performance actions as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain required work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures for compliance.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Provide support to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate issues.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean 7S workspace.
