Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead who will coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, and support daily operations. The Lead provides backup to supervisors and ensures safety, accuracy, and compliance across departments.

The role emphasizes training, performance observations, and collaboration with leadership to optimize processes and inventory control in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks.
• Provide backup to supervisor when needed.
• Train forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Review production reports and communicate variances to leadership.
• Support inventory/cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
