Job summary

Uzin Utz North America, Inc. in Waco, TX, seeks an Operations Systems Specialist to optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse performance across the North American network, including Dover and Aurora.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or related fields.
• Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems; SAP and LFS experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile inventory variances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead and support cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and recounts.
• Maintain an active warehouse-floor presence to validate system data against physical activity.
• Support receiving, put-away, replenishment, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping processes.
• Map and evaluate warehouse processes to improve safety, quality, service, and throughput.
• Apply root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions for sustained improvement.
• Develop and standardize SOPs, work instructions, and SAP/LFS procedures.
• Identify gaps between procedures and practices and coordinate fixes.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives involving layout, slotting, and labor efficiency.
• Track initiatives, progress, and results for operational reviews and KPI discussions.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs using SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Maintain master-data accuracy and troubleshoot system issues with IT.
• Train staff on SAP, LFS, and standardized processes; act as SME.
• Lead projects across multiple functions and promote accountability.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
