Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems in Waco, TX, part of Howmet Aerospace Inc., seeks an Operations Business Analyst to develop and implement systems supporting end-to-end processes from receipts to customers. You will manage inventory, support warehouse activities, analyze KPIs, and promote lean improvements to meet service levels.

The role collaborates with supply planning, internal/external customers, and will ensure regulatory trade compliance while improving product knowledge and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain/distribution, operations management, marketing, business management, or similar discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in supply chain or similar roles.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse principles; shipping, receiving, inventory processes (cycle counting), WMS, QMS and TMS programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish, measure, and analyze KPI for the Industrial Distribution Group and take corrective actions.
• Promote and deploy lean techniques to drive continuous improvement and lead efficiency locally.
• Act as the business process owner for demand management, order management and distribution systems.
• Checks stock and future production for customers and distributors; coordinate with internal resources for advanced questions.
