Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an analytical, systems-focused Operations Systems Specialist to support warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement across our North American distribution network. This role is based in Waco, Texas, with support for operations in Dover, Delaware and Aurora, Colorado.

You are someone who is comfortable working at the intersection of warehouse operations, inventory control, data, and technology. You can move from the warehouse floor to SAP and LFS transactions, identify the root cause behind an inventory or process issue, and translate operational data into practical solutions that improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

If you have hands‑on warehouse or inventory experience, strong systems and analytical skills, and enjoy building better processes across multiple locations, we’d like to hear from you.

Why You Should Apply

This is a highly visible, hands‑on role with direct impact on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, system discipline, and operational performance across Uzin Utz North America.

You will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and Carrier Relations while helping standardize processes and improve the effective use of SAP, LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS), and reporting tools.

If you enjoy solving complex operational problems, working with data, improving systems and processes, and seeing measurable results from your work, this position offers the opportunity to become a key resource across our distribution network.

Position Overview

The Operations Systems Specialist supports warehouse operational performance, inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and systems discipline across the North American distribution network, including Waco, TX; Dover, DE; and Aurora, CO. This position serves as a key connection between warehouse operations, inventory control, reporting, and technology by ensuring warehouse processes and system transactions are accurate, standardized, measurable, and consistently executed.

The role analyzes operational and inventory data, supports the effective use of SAP, LFS WMS, and related reporting tools, identifies root causes of process and inventory issues, and coordinates corrective actions with warehouse leadership and cross‑functional partners. Regular warehouse‑floor engagement is essential to translating system data into practical operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, recounts, and inventory‑control improvement activities.
  • Maintain an active warehouse‑floor presence to validate system data against physical activity, identify process gaps, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Support receiving, put‑away, replenishment, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, material flow, and transaction discipline.
  • Map and evaluate warehouse processes to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, service, inventory accuracy, throughput, labor efficiency, and cost.
  • Apply root‑cause analysis and structured problem‑solving methods to recurring operational issues and verify that corrective actions produce sustained improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and standardize SOPs, work instructions, process maps, job aids, training materials, and SAP/LFS procedures across distribution operations.
  • Identify gaps between documented procedures and actual practices and coordinate corrective actions to improve consistency and compliance.
  • Support continuous‑improvement initiatives involving warehouse layout, slotting, replenishment, picking, material flow, waste reduction, and labor efficiency.
  • Track improvement initiatives, action items, implementation progress, and results; support operational reviews and KPI discussions.
  • Support effective use of SAP and LFS, ensuring accurate inventory movement, warehouse transactions, location control, and order processing.
  • Analyze operational and system data to identify trends, variances, process failures, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and recurring operational reports using SAP, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other approved tools.
  • Maintain warehouse master‑data accuracy and partner with IT and operational teams to troubleshoot system issues, test changes, and implement solutions.
  • Train and support employees on SAP, LFS, inventory‑control practices, reporting tools, and standardized warehouse processes; serve as a subject‑matter resource.
  • Lead assigned projects and coordinate improvement activities across Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and Carrier Relations.
  • Communicate operational findings, risks, recommendations, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels while promoting accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide operational coverage, project support, training, and issue resolution for warehouse leadership as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
