Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Akron, OH to direct daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient distribution processes.

You will manage shipping/receiving, coordinate with other departments, and uphold safety standards across the facility. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory, and maintenance.
• Oversee storage, audits, staging, and disposal of products as required by processes.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety programs and a clean workplace in line with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems; coordinate with other departments.
• Prepare activity reports for management and ensure timely data entry across Receiving and Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP and proper product storage to conserve space.
• Monitor inventory rotation and perform related duties as directed by management.
