Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Tracy, CA for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The role is salaried with a 4:30am–2:30pm schedule, Sun–Thu, and an annual pay of $78,000.

You will supervise daily logistics operations, plan processes with the Logistics Manager, and ensure safety and customer service standards while driving continuous improvement and KPI achievement. Ryder offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED required.
0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specifications.
Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift/team logistics.
Accountable for site KPI and collaboration with the customer in operations.
Conduct regular progress reviews, coach and counsel team members; drive engagement and accountability.
Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
Perform performance evaluations and recommend recognition or merit increases.
Address performance issues and enforce corrective actions.
Ensure health, safety, security initiatives and company policies are followed.
Provide orientation and necessary resources to employees and leads.
